2016 FAQ - GENERAL INFO

  • WHEN IS THE 2016 FESTIVAL?
    Friday April 29th, Saturday April 30th, Sunday May 1st

    Friday May 6th, Saturday May 7th, Sunday May 8th

  • HOW MUCH ARE TICKETS?

    Adult General Admission: $10 online and $10 at the gate

    Children ages 6 - 12:  $5.00 online and at the gate

    Children 13 and over:  Regular Price

    We also have Pre-Paid Parking available online as well

  • WHAT ABOUT MY SMALL CHILDREN

    ​Children  FIVE (5) and under are free with accompanied Adult.

    Tickets are available HERE or at the gates.
  • WHAT TIME DOES IT START?

    ​FRIDAYS - Gates open at 6 pm

    SATURDAYS - Gates open at Noon

    SUNDAYS - Gates open at Noon

  • WHAT TIME DOES IT END?
    Fridays and Saturdays end at Eleven p.m.

    Sundays end at 6 p.m.

  • HOW DO I GET TO THE FESTIVAL & OLD TOWN SPRING?
    Click HERE for a map and directions to the festival.  To avoid congestion in the area, exit E. Louetta Road and go east to Hardy Road.  Turn left on W. Hardy Road and continue north until Spring School Road.  Follow parking signs.  You may also connect to W. Hardy Road off FM 1960 at the Hardy Toll Road intersection.  Go north on W. Hardy Road (not the Hardy Toll Road) to Old Town Spring.
  • WHERE CAN I PARK?
    There are two official festival parking lots adjacent to the festival grounds. SAVE time and money with PREPAID PARKING! Park close to the festival grounds. Click HERE to purchase prepaid parking for the festival.
  • WHAT CAN I BRING?
    Blankets not larger than 8’x10’, Low-backed chairs under 30”, Your Camera (no tripods), Strollers
  • WHAT IS NOT ALLOWED?
    Coolers, Alcohol, Pets, Beach Umbrellas, Firearms, Fireworks
  • CAN I LEAVE AND RETURN TO THE FESTIVAL?
    Yes. At such time as you want to exit, please ask for a re-entry wristband that will allow you to come and go.  Wristbands will not be given out as you enter the festival grounds, only when you exit the first time.  Wristband colors will change from day to day.
  • WHAT IF I AM IN THE MILITARY

    ​Active and ex-military with a valid military ID are free along with spouses.

  • WHAT IS THERE TO DO AT THE FESTIVAL?
    Inside the festival gates, there will be live music, a carnival, midway games, exotic bird performances, alligator wading pool, exotic snakes, and  petting zoo, food, drinks, art and craft vendors, you can walk around Old Town Spring and enjoy the town shops.. 
  • WHAT IS THERE TO DRINK AT THE FESTIVAL?
    There will be beer and wine available at the bars and soft drinks and water available at many of the food vendors. A special festival stainless steel root beer mug will be available as last year, but with the new logo.  Come thirsty!
  • WHAT IS THERE TO EAT?
    There will be many vendors serving all types of food from fresh boiled crawfish, cajun food, BBQ, burgers, sandwiches, vegetarian items, snacks, ice cream and plenty more. Come hungry!
  • CAN A HOLDER OF A CONCEALED HANDGUN LICENSE CARRY A WEAPON AT THE FESTIVAL?

    No.  For the safety of all our patrons, we prohibit all weapons and post notices accordingly.

  • ARE THERE ATMs AVAILABLE IF I NEED CASH?
    Yes. There will be many ATMs available onsite.
  • CAN I WALK IN AND OUT OF THE FESTIVAL?

  • WHERE IS FIRST AID?
    First Aid will be provided inside the festival grounds.  Please ask any gate attendant or security officer for directions.
  • IS THERE ZYDECO AT THE FESTIVAL?

    YES! Zydeco Music will be playing on both weekends of the festival. Check out Zydeco Fridays with $2.00 general admission.

  • CAN I CARRY FOOD OUT OF THE FESTIVAL GROUNDS?
    Yes.  You may carry-out any food you purchase inside the Park, but no alcoholic beverage.
