TCF Artist Spotlight: Toadies

2013 will mark the first year the Toadies, a Texas music foundation, will play Texas Crawfish Festival. For over two decades, the band has remained heros of the Texas rock scene and a staple of American alternative music. Formed in 1989 in Fort Worth, the band released their first full length, Rubberneck, in 1994. The acclaimed album included six singles, “Possum Kingdom” (their most successful) as well as “Mister Love”, “Away”, “Tyler”, “Backslider” and “I Come From the Water”. The band’s fifth album, Play.Rock.Music, was released July 31, 2012 on Kirtland Records. Expect this to be a highlight of 2013’s Crawfish Fest.

They have nearly 75,000 fans on Facebook and recently hit their goal of 8,000 followers on Twitter
